A Study on Recent Development in Face Recognition Techniques

Face recognition has been an active research area since the1960 and is one of the most successful applications of image analysis and understanding. Since then, innumerable researches have been conducted in various face recognition algorithm and is still a wide research area. This is because of two main reasons; first is the need for commercial and law enforcement applications and second is the availability of innumerable technologies to fulfill this. This paper is a review of recent developments in face recognition techniques.
